At Hidden “K” Stables we pride ourselves on fun and safe riding lessons for every age and ability.  Michelle Hargreaves is the main instructor and has achieved British Horse Society qualifications to ensure that your child, or your lesson, will be fun, productive, and as safe as possible.

We offer riding lessons in a variety of disciplines, including Eventing, Hunter/Jumper and Western.  We have a wide selection of safe and knowledgeable lesson horses and ponies.

Effective October 1st, 2011, Lessons are offered to new students at $35 for half an hour private and at $35 for an hour in a group lesson.  All students are asked to begin with private lessons and if it is suitable can move to an hour lesson when both student and instructor feel its right. Lessons are paid for per month except for the first introductory month. Group lessons are a maximum of 3 students so you can still get individual attention.

As a courtesy to our instructors, in most situations,
we request 24 hours notice if a lesson is to be cancelled.

Students at Hidden “K” Stables are taught horsemanship with an emphasis on safety and understanding how a horse behaves. When riding, students are instructed in Balanced Seat riding which is the basis for jumping, dressage, and pleasure riding. They are taught correct posture, balance, communication with the horse, and riding theory. On the ground, students learn to groom, lead, bridle, and saddle the horses they ride. When the weather does not permit mounted work, valuable lessons can be held in the stables in order for every student to understand horses and their care.
