 welcomes the

Wake Forest University Huntseat Team !!! 

Wake Forest returned to the ring of intercollegiate huntseat riding competition in the Fall of 2009 and have an excellent group of riders that show in the IHSA Zone 4 Region 3 division with impeccable horsemanship.

The WFU team travels several times a year to horse shows where the horses and equipment are provided by the host school. Wake is fortunate to ride with Michelle Hargreaves who trains the team on horses owned by her and her clients.

Each member of the Wake Team rides at least twice a week, once in a group lesson and once in a group hack.  Being a member of the competitive team does require time and financial commitment but if you ask us, it's all worth it.

The huntseat team members compete at all levels, from Open to Walk, Trot, and we are always looking for new riders who are interested in joining.
